The validity of negative reviews
the Haley Pham drama
Here we are again talking about one of my favorite things in this world. The right to review things negatively. If you already read my substack on “not letting people enjoy things” you probably already heard me say a lot of these things, but hey, we can say it again for good measure.
I also have a very special message at the end of this video for authors and creatives from everywhere, so if you are currently feeling down about your creative aspirations and if you are thinking about giving up on your writing, painting, social media, this might help you out a bit.
I am honestly so extremely proud of this video, the process of creating content that involves writing, filming, editing, putting out content that I know will have a longer shelf life than a few seconds is so exciting. I would love to hear your opinion on this subject. As always, constructive criticism is super welcomed.
The one personal thing I will say today is that ever since I started making youtube videos, away from the lenses and filters of instagram, I feel more like mysel again. I used to hate my face and the way I looked because I got so used to distorting my features with all those stupid instagram filters. So yeah, as always, fuck Mark Zuckerberg.
